Dear Co-Labourers and Friends,
Cassie and I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus! We also praise His good name for the privilege of serving Him alongside of our co-labourers. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your faithful support. Thank you for being our friends. We count each of you as precious gifts from God.
The Bible says in Michah 5:2, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little amoung the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.“ We often talk of the second coming of the Lord, and we certainly should. However, I think we ought to remind ourselves, especially this time of year that the greater majority of the world has not heard of His first coming. I trust throughout this Christmas season each of us will remember the actual “reason for the season.” God’s Word teaches us that Jesus was born to die, so the world through Him might live. It is that Gospel message as well as the command by our Saviour to take it to a lost and dying world that compels us forward and causes us to press on. Thank you again for being a part of this great missions endeavor.
I often say now that our Lord’s great commission has not been canceled! Cassie and I have been as busy this fall as we have ever been. We have had missions conferences as far north as Maine and as far south as Florida. God has been so good to not only grant us open doors and traveling mercy but also to allow us the privilege of seeing churches determine to do more for missions in spite of being in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. It has been absolutely thrilling for us to see pastors and church families determine to “keep the main thing the main thing”. Our office staff has certainly been busy as well.
Recently, we have just finished orientation with three new MWBM missionary families that are headed to South Africa, Guatemala, and the great state of Idaho. What a thrill to have a part in helping their local churches and pastors get them to their prospective fields and then sustain them while they are there! Would you like to be an extra special blessing to some family just getting started on deputation? If so please let me know, and I will be more than glad to put you in touch with them. Also, our office continues the work on the software transition that I have been asking you to pray about as well. The hours of training have been long, and at times the task has seemed overwhelming. However, I have never been more pleased with how the staff has worked together to make this needed change. I give the Lord glory and ask that you might continue to help us pray for this great need. Our MWBM families are depending on us. Recently, while soul winning with the Calvary Baptist Church of Waterloo, Iowa, during their missions conference, a couple from the church knocked on the door of an elderly man who proclaimed to be an atheist. He wanted nothing to do with the couple, or the Gospel they had come to share. Oh how my heart broke! I was reminded that day that there are no atheists in hell. He may choose not to believe here, but he will believe there. We must continue to try and reach them with the Gospel now! The Gospel always has been and will continue to be the power of God unto salvation. Therefore, for God’s glory and by His grace, Cassie and I will continue by faith.

Dear Co Labourers,
To God be the glory, great things He has done! Cassie and I write with exciting news since our previous letter. Over the course of the last quarter our Executive Board has been very busy. We have approved new missionary families to the Southwest as well as the Northwest USA. Another couple has committed to be a part of our “church rescue” ministry and assist struggling churches across America. In just a few days we will be interviewing another family that has filed application to take the Gospel to China. These are exciting days to say the least; days in which we have been reminded that God is not through calling His people to very specific fields of service. It is our joy here at Macedonia to labor alongside of these sending churches and pastors in order that others may hear the same good news that changed our lives. Praise the Lord!
We have had the busiest spring since our service began with Macedonia. Week after week, while staying in close contact with our home office, it has been our joy to travel from state to state as ambassadors for world evangelism. God has granted safety over the course of thousands of miles of traveling for which we are grateful. He has also given us souls for our labor. Recently, while soul winning during a mission conference at the Freedom Baptist Church of Fayetteville, NC, where Brother Paul Worley serves as the pastor, I had the privilege of leading a seventeen-year-old young man to the Lord. What a joy! I am also praying for another man I met that week by the name of David. David was so kind to allow me to share the Gospel with him; however, he has yet to respond to it. Will you please join me in prayer for David? The greatest need right now in David’s life is his need of a Saviour
We also want to ask you to be much in prayer as Cassie and I plan two separate missions trips in 2020. We are not sure at this point if she will be able to attend both; however, our plans are to be in Africa in January, as well as Europe in July of next year. Currently we are saving as much as we can and trusting the Lord to supply the finances in order that we may purchase the airline tickets. The Lord is able! He has reminded us of that time and time again. In fact, we want to personally thank Pastor Travis Blackwell and our friends at the Westside Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC, who have been so very gracious to send monthly support specifically designated for travel. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you. God has been so gracious to us through His people. We do not take that lightly neither do we take it for granted. We are determined to be good and gracious stewards of the support that God gives. We have set up a separate travel account here at the office as we plan for the trips I have mentioned next year. We sure would appreciate your prayers for safety as well as for the financial need to be met.
Five years ago last month, Cassie and I left the pastorate after twenty two years in order for me to serve as the General Director of MWBM. It would be absolutely impossible for me to share the names of all the people that God has used to assist us in doing what God has called us to do. However, let me say to each of you yet again, thank you. We love and appreciate you all and count it an honor to labor alongside of you for the Gospel’s sake. Therefore, in light of the great need of the world, we continue by faith.
For the sake of souls,
Dr. Scott Caudill
